A Letter From Our Chair<\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s a real pleasure to introduce the 2026 Basingstoke Music and Arts Festival!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re delighted to be returning once again to the familiar and welcoming surroundings of Queen Mary\u2019s College, and we extend our sincere thanks to the college for their continued hospitality and support.<\/p>\n

Our Percussion Section and the addition of Rock\/Pop Band classes made a strong impact in 2025, with some truly memorable performances. We\u2019re excited to build on that success this year and look forward to seeing even more musicians getting involved.<\/p>\n

As always, our committee of dedicated volunteers is here to support you. We welcome your questions, ideas, or feedback\u2014please don\u2019t hesitate to get in touch if there\u2019s anything you\u2019d like to share.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re also proud to continue offering our non means-tested financial grants and awards, which are available to help support participation. Full details can be found on our website, and I encourage you to take a look.<\/p>\n

This is also a moment to welcome new members to our festival committee and to warmly thank those stepping down for their time and commitment. The festival is entirely run by volunteers, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributes. Basingstoke Music and Arts Festival is known for being a friendly, inclusive event that champions creativity, fun, and community. We encourage performers of all ages and abilities to take part\u2014and we can\u2019t wait to celebrate your talent in March 2026.<\/p>\n
